Makes my damn skin crawl. The portion in that article that talks about Hilary (insert vomiting face) voting against "immunity of liability for firearms makers and sellers" opens another window of discussion I think. I don't think makers and sellers should be held liable for others. They are just businessmen after all. One caveat to that, if you knowingly falsify documents to sell firearms or like items to people who can't have them, well then there should be some consequences.
Not that my next statement has anything to do with this article, but law abiding folks, like myself and I would imagine everyone else in this forum, should be able to own everything, up to and including the M-134 Gatling, and quite possibly a small mortar.
